I just went to the doctor. I thought it would be smart to let everyone know that it isnt strep. Now let me start out by telling you that I dont go around making out with random girls. I only kiss my girlfriend. and just so you know she didnt give it to me. I have mono. The doctor said that it used to have a nickname the kissing disease but that was proven wrong. She said that I prob got it from a water fountian or something like that where lots of people use it. I am really sorry if anyone gets it. I honestly would have been more carefull if i had known what it was. The symptoms are: swollen lymph nodes, sore throat, headache, cough, and tiredness. So dont think you have strep if you get these symptoms. you have mono.  The reason they didnt think that it was mono at first was that my body has a strong immune system and the tiredness and aching that most people feel wasent one of my symptoms.
